Mt. Adams in Cincinatti is crawling with them. While we were there, we visited the Art Museum and the Krohn Green House.

I love Wordpress
It's so incredibly simple to use and easy to install. I'm also working on installing Gallery. While fotopages is nice (because of the increased syndication), I don't like the ads, the popularity contest or the reliability of fotopages.com

Piano
I work in a windowless buildling in a room that is locked behind a door locked behind another door, protected by Oompa Loompas.
Today I had another surge of creativity and decided to create a new website utilizing Flash, PHP and MYSQL. And just as my project is getting off the ground, I decide to take the GRE on June 3rd. Oh yeah, and since MoveableType went 3.0, I'm going to foray into the world of WordPress
There in lies my problem. I start projects and before finishing them, start new projects. I accumulate knowledge in certain areas and forget what I've learned a month later. I must have ADD, which would explain why I've only written short stories, poems and screenplay treatments. I played the $1500 electric piano, pictured above, for approximately 2 weeks.

First Kiss
She was taller than me
Ever get that excited, nostalgic feeling after talking to someone you haven't seen in a few years? I'm feeling that right now. My first kiss wrote me an email yesterday.
Here is what I can remember from 7 years ago: I saw her in a one act play, asked her out in the library a year later. We never really went out on a date but I managed to steal an innocent peck while sitting on the lawn of my very conservative Jesuit highschool. Was it awkward? Yes. Was I goofy? Yes. Was I estatic for the rest of the day? Asolutely. A week later, I met her friends over lunch; they hated me. It all lasted about 1 1/2 months. We never really broke-up, just ignored each other. It's too bad. She was cute and I was lucky.
It's a good memory and I'm glad I have it.

The Bed

Tracy comes back from Russia tomorrow. I will no longer have to endure an empty bed.

Newport on the Levee
About two weeks before Tracy left for Russia, we decided to make a day trip to Newport, Kentucky. There was a wonderful restaurant that reminded me of my childhood, The Istanbul Cafe. I highly recommend it. After doing a little shopping, we went to the aquarium and then saw Margeret Cho. We were right in front of the stage. I could see her cooking under the lights. It was funny but not pretty.
The Wolf Eel was over five feet in length. It's head was the size of a grapefruit and its eyes were grape sized. As scary as it looks, wolf eels are not aggressive towards people.

A dinner to remember
It was tasty
About six months ago I sent Tracy to a seafood recipe class. It costed $80 and students were given plenty to eat. The only stipulation was that you couldn't take left-overs. So I ate peanut butter and jelly sandwiches that night. No big deal.
Five months later, I had yet to see a plate of fish. After much harassment, Tracy finally made me some Salmon encrusted with Mango Chutney. As you can see, she was told to cook that huge slab of sea steak on parchment paper. Now I didn't think this was a good idea, but she insisted. The ironic thing is: Tracy learned this recipe from one of her friends, for free.

All by My Lonesome
So it's been a while and I'm full of a lot of promises. My wife is in Russia and the cable that transfers my pictures are at her office. I will raid it today and get my cable back. And then I'm gonna Kill Bill <cue the exploitation musics>
Signs of spring are all around: goslings, budding trees, the smell of miracle grow. This morning half the tuilps I planted 2 weeks ago were finally blooming.
I can't believe people still visit this page. Crazy. Who am I?
